TRATAMIENTOS PARA EL CARTÓN
REDUCING STARCH
SERFIX MB 207
The glue is a fundamental and necessary element for the constitution and structure of corrugated cardboard. Currently, aqueous glues are used, almost exclusively based on starch. Starch is the active element in gluing properties.
10-20% of the total starch used goes through the gelatilization process to achieve the adhesion properties required.
The aim of the treatment is to reduce the percentage of starch used by providing the same gluing properties and improve the physical characteristics of the cardboard
- Starch savings
- Improves drying
- Increase the yield or gluing of starch
- Improves paper characteristics
- Improve machine runnability
- Food contact conformity
